I have played a key role in revising MRWA sewer and water standards, VESI URD standards, and organising the ALDE 2024 Conference in Lorne and part of the organising committee for the ALDE 2026 Conference to be held in Melbourne.

Gee Singh is a geotechnical engineer working within the land development sector in Victoria, with experience across residential & commercial subdivisions, transport infrastructure, and recreational developments. His work focuses on earthworks, pavement design, subgrade assessments and practical ground improvement solutions for highly reactive soil environments common to Melbourne’s growth corridors. Gee has a particular interest in bridging the gap between geotechnical investigation outcomes and constructible design solutions, with an emphasis on stabilisation methodologies, performance based specifications, and risk informed engineering decisions. He is actively involved in delivering geotechnical advice across multidisciplinary project teams and contributes to industry discussions surrounding improved ground treatment practices in expanding urban areas.

Jamie Tainton - Water Studio

Jamie Tainton wears a variety of hats.  She is currently the Vice President of ALDE, she was the president of Stormwater Victoria and she sits on a variety of advisory panels to support industry.  She is also the Chair of the ALDE Conference later this year (so make sure you have a chat to her about opportunities for that).  Her paid job is the Founder, Managing Director and Principal engineer for Water Studio and has over 20 years experience working as a civil and environmental drainage engineer.
